1. Recycled Polyester (RPET)
Pure Earth™ transforms discarded plastics from landfills and oceans into high‑quality apparel fibers.
- RPET is certified under the Global Recycled Standard (GRS)
- Over 90% of new STORMTECH™ polyester styles use recycled polyester as of 2023
This process gives plastic waste a second life while reducing reliance on virgin materials.
2. Certified BCI Cotton

The Pure EarthTM collection is just the beginning for STORMTECHTM. Each year they set new milestones to help them achieve a more sustainable future. In 2021, they focused on developing more eco-friendly sourcing and production processes. For 2022 they focused on packaging; making sure all their packaging was biodegradable and recyclable. Last year was heavily focused on product development, with more than 90% of new products using polyester being made of recycled polyester and 100% of new products made of cotton be made of FSC certified cotton.
