Sustainably Sourced Materials
With a focus on sustainable sourcing, the Pure EarthTM is making a difference to help reduce the waste and environmental impact typically associated with apparel production.
- RPET fabric is created by repurposing plastic found in landfills and oceans
- Certified BCI cotton minimizes the negative impacts of fertilizers, pesticides and water consumption
- All products are packed in sustainable materials including biodegradable bags
- Wood-based materials that are certified Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) to lower their impact associated with deforestation and forest degradation
Taking It A Step Further
The Pure EarthTM collection is just the beginning for STORMTECHTM. Each year they set new milestones to help them achieve a more sustainable future. In 2021, they focused on developing more eco-friendly sourcing and production processes. For 2022 they focused on packaging; making sure all their packaging was biodegradable and recyclable. Last year was heavily focused on product development, with more than 90% of new products using polyester being made of recycled polyester and 100% of new products made of cotton be made of FSC certified cotton.
