Shout out to one of our favorite PNW partners hitting all the marks for sustainability! Not only does MiiR produce drinkware that keeps plastic bottles out of landfills, their manufacturing process works to minimize and offset their carbon footprint. Topping it off, they are leaders in worldwide community giving and education investment. We’re proud to work with MiiR and the organizations they support.
How MiiR Gives Back
MiiR gives at least 1% of revenue to nonprofit organizations whose work empowers communities while benefiting the health of their natural environments. Every product sold helps fund transparent giving projects through their partnership with 1% for the Planet. MiiR is also Carbon Neutral Certified and a Certified B Corporation.
Another way MiiR gives back is how they combine business with philanthropy, creating what they call the “Cycle of Good”. The cycle starts in manufacturing by minimizing the impact of materials & manufacturing, using FSC certified packaging or packaging that is made from 90% post consumer recycled paper & biodegradable plastic bags. They also are reducing waste and using solar power energy for production processes and lighting.
MiiR continues the “Cycle of Good” with community giving through grant programs, employee giving and donations with partners like Bike Works of Southeast Seattle and charity:water of Northern Rwanda.
