Image Source, alongside the Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF), recently announced the creation of the Brian Haner Scholarship with the intent of supporting promotional product industry employees and their children in college. This scholarship was initially funded with $10,000 to be dispersed in $1,250 merit-based scholarships for 8 years.
Created by his longtime business partner, Thomas Goos, President and CEO of Image Source, the scholarship reflects Brian’s tireless dedication to mentorship, professional growth, and his passion for helping students pursue meaningful careers.
In Loving Memory of Brian
Brian had a deep passion for people, always fostering meaningful connections in both his personal and professional life. In establishing this scholarship, Tom Goos honored Brian’s legacy by continuing his commitment to mentorship and growth. Goos says, “Brian had a passion for mentoring and growing students and professionals in our industry. So what better than creating a legacy of paying to forward by creating the Brian Haner Scholarship with PPEF.”

Reciprocity Road Donates $7,500 to PPEF Scholarships
During the Las Vegas PPAI Expo in January 2025, Reciprocity Road presented a check totaling $7,500 to the PPEF to contribute to the funding of the Brian Haner Scholarship and other PPEF scholarships.

This contribution reflects our belief in the transformative power of education and our dedication to helping the next generation of leaders succeed. Scholarship Receives Additional Funding from Industry Veteran
Since it’s inception, the Brian Haner Scholarship has received additional funding from others who were touched by Brian’s unwavering faith and passion. This donation will will ensure Brian’s impact will continue to support and inspire the next generation of professionals.

According to PPAI, long-time industry professional and industry friend, Harry Ein, owner of Perfection Promo says, “I made this donation in honor of my deep respect and admiration for Brian Haner. I had the privilege of working with Brian for eight years and was consistently inspired by his kindness and approachability.”

PPEF Scholarships
According to PPAI.org they have three types of scholarships and have awarded more than $3.6 million to 2,000 students since 1989.
- Associate: Funded with $5,000 distributed at $1,250 per year over four consecutive years
- Colleague: Funded with $10,000 distributed at $1,250 per year over eight consecutive years
- Lifelong Friend: A perpetual endowed fund of $50,000Â distributed in $1,250 per year
